What is an employer matching gift?▼
Many companies match donations their employees make to registered nonprofits, usually dollar-for-dollar up to a set limit. A $50 gift from you can become $100 for ThriveTogether at no extra cost.
How do I find out if my employer matches?▼
Ask your HR or benefits team, or search your company intranet for "matching gifts" or "charitable giving." Many employers use platforms like Benevity, YourCause, or Millie. If you're not sure, reach out and we'll help you check.
Do I need to donate first before submitting a match?▼
Yes — most programs require you to make the donation first, then submit the matching request using your receipt. After you give, you'll receive an email receipt from ThriveTogether that you can upload as proof of your gift.
What info does ThriveTogether need to complete the match?▼
Once you submit the request through your employer's platform, forward the confirmation to thethrivetogetherdayton@gmail.com. We will complete any required verification on our end so your match can be released.
